Romans 5  •  2/2/16

In chapter 5.1-11  Paul begins to list some of the results of having been justified by faith.

     1) We have peace with God, — and a peace that passes all understanding.

     2) We have access into grace (unearned, unmerited, unlimited love of God)  in which we now stand.

     3) We "rejoice in hope of the glory of God.”

     4) Not only that but we glory in our tribulations (sufferings).

Indeed we who are imperfect and sinful, through the gift of the sacrifice (crucifixion) and resurrection of Jesus Christ are now, and eternally, reconciled with a perfect, holy, and loving God.

We very briefly began to touch on Romans 5.12-21. That is where we will begin this week.
